1976 Volkswagen VW T2 Bay Window Campervan is kept stored in dry conditions. The petrol engine is a Mexican 1600cc twin port with less than 3000 miles from new and features electronic ignition, stainless steel exhaust, powder coated tin ware and adjustable serpentine fan belt system. The van is registered as a Historic Vehicle meaning it's Road Tax and MoT exempt. The interior is fully custom built by well known T2 specialists "Custom Classic & Retro" to a design we developed together and it's featured in the book "VW Camper Inspirational Interiors" by David Eccles. There is a large awning included which has only been used twice, full width Rock and Roll bed, seating for 6, a removable 3 way fridge (gas, 12v, mains which can be lifted out into the awning), a swing out 2 burner cooker with grill unit which can also be lifted out into the awning, a cunning variable size table (see pics), Eberspaecher heating, sink with built in water tank and pump, leisure battery and associated electrics, mains hook up with built in battery charger, buddy seat storage box between the front seats which can be moved for additional rear seating, roof level cupboard space, a full set of window blinds and curtains and matching upholstered Porsche 944 front seats. The van comes fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and a load of useful spare parts. Outside there is a front sun visor and front-mounted full sized matching Empi spare wheel. The original Devon pop top has been replaced with a "Paris" sliding sunroof which is great on those sunny summer days. The van has been moderately lowered and the wheels are white Empi 5 spoke with tyres like new all round. There is also a Just Kampers full sized breathable cover. In short, she's ready to use.
