Beautiful, reliable Penny is ready for a new home! This rare 1969 VW Beetle 1500 model, with a flat windscreen, has been very well looked after in the 28 years I have had her, including her own garage! Over this time she has had more or less everything updated, replaced, painted and restored and I have a folder of receipts, invoices and MOT certificates, since she’s been mine! She has been fully refurbished inside and is completely colour coordinated throughout. She now has a 1600cc engine since late 2008 and clocked 7000 miles to date. Penny is MOT and TAX exempt, but she will have a full service before going off to her new home. No expense has been spared over the years, she is a real head turner and makes you feel super special when driving her. Has a CD stereo and hidden back shelf speakers and speakers in door, rare 60s wicker front tray, original oak Mountney steering wheel, alloys, new tyres and mechanically sound with no rust. She has never let me down and we’ve had loads of adventures, but as I haven’t been rebuilt, she now needs someone to take her on more escapades and is ready to go!
