- An as-new example of Land Rover’s commemorative Defender 90 Heritage, and one of just 400 examples produced for the UK market. - Powered by a turbocharged 2.2-litre inline-four diesel, delivering around 120bhp to all four wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. - This Defender 90 Heritage has covered just 1,160 miles from new and has been stored in a heated private garage. The limited-edition Heritage model was launched in celebration of Land Rover’s history, and features ‘HUE 166’ exterior and interior badging in recognition of the oldest surviving Land Rover, and the first Series One produced. Other touches include Grasmere Green paintwork, black and Almond cloth seats, body-coloured steel wheels, a white roof, retro-styled mudflaps, Indus Silver door hinges, and a Heritage-style grille for a 1940s appearance. The specification also includes a heated front windscreen, electric windows, and heated front seats. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. The paint is excellent and shows little to no damage, while inside, the interior is all original and the seats are in excellent condition and in keeping with a vehicle with such minimal mileage. Remarkably, this vehicle has only covered a fully documented 1,150 miles therefore this Limited Edition Land Rover heritage has hardly ventured far and has been treasured as part of a collection and maintained to a high standard. It is offered for sale with a current V5 registration document and a history file containing the original owner’s manual, and service record book to back up the mileage. Now, the vehicle is ready to be enjoyed by a lucky new owner, where it will no doubt serve as a fantastic addition to a collection. SUMMARY This Land Rover Defender 90 Heritage is a showroom-fresh example of the limited-edition model, which was released to mark the end of Defender production and finished as a tribute to ‘HUE 166’: the first Land Rover Series One, and the genesis of the Defender nameplate. Showing just 1,150 miles on the odometer, this beautifully preserved example would make a fantastic centrepiece within any Defender collection, or an eminently capable all-terrain companion should the new owner wish to put it through its paces on or off the beaten track.
