- Confirmed by the Aston Martin Heritage Trust as the earliest example currently road registered. - As of today, no other pre-production V12 Vanquish is known to be road registered and the conclusion is that this car, chassis number #PP09, is the earliest and only road registered PP-chassis Vanquish that’s likely to be offered to market. - This vehicle was on display at the Newport Pagnell factory for many years. - V5C states Aston Martin Lagonda as the first and only keeper. - Powered by a naturally aspirated 5.9-litre V12, sending its power to the rear wheels via a six-speedautomated manual transmission with paddle shift. - The odometer displays an incredible 666 kilometres from new. The Vanquish we have here, number 50PP09 was from the final batch of 22 'PP' or pre-production cars. These were production specs but not intended for sale to the public. Of these 22, 4 became 4WD James Bond cars, 3 survive today, '50PP10' is in a museum, One is known as 'Jet2', One was converted by Zagato, 3 unconverted ones are known to have been scrapped, 3 were crash tested, 1 was used for corrosion tests, 1 to test the ability to repair the car, the remainder are believed to have been dismantled. AMHT registrar confirms this as the earliest and only road-worthy Aston Martin Vanquish V12 Pre-production car recorded. Finishedin the iconic James Bond shade of Skye Silver over a black leather-trimmed cabin. It rides on the correct set of19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, shod in the original Yokohama tyres. Accompanying the sale is the owner’s book pack with the service manual, and two keys. Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. The paint is excellent and shows little to no damage, the interior is all original and the seats are in excellent condition and in keeping with a vehicle with such minimal mileage. SERVICE HISTORY The history file documents the journey of the vehicle from a pre-production prototype to the road car it is today with the DVLA listing it as #SCFAC23391B50PP09. Remarkably, this vehicle has only covered a fully documented 666 kilometres and treasured as part of Aston Martin's, Newport Pagnell reception display for many years. It is offered for sale with a current V5 registration document and a history file containing the original owner’s manual, maintenance invoices and stamped service record book to back up the mileage. Now, the vehicle is ready to be enjoyed by a lucky new owner, who willno doubtserve as a fantastic addition to a collection.
