A very smart Porsche 924 S finished in Guards Red with Teledial alloy wheels. It has the 2.5-litre engine and a five-speed manual gearbox. It has immaculate black leatherette and flannel cloth upholstery. There are some cracks on the top of the dash panel - a common 924 issue. The rest of the interior is in very good condition and everything works as it should, including the radio with electric aerial, and the sunroof has recently been sorted so it works perfectly. The car has also recently had a new battery and alternator, as well recent oil service. It had its second full belt service in 2018 that included the cam belt, balancer shaft belt, and power steering belt at 34,500 miles. It's a 1986 car that was delivered new from AFN Porsche in Guildford to its first owner. Extras ordered from new include a passenger door mirror, cassette and coin holder, graduated tinted windscreen, removeable sunroof, and power steering. When new, the price was £16,857.03. It also has the original Thatcham Cat 2 alarm and immobiliser that still work. My Dad bought the car from its second owner in May 2021 and used it very lightly. The car drives exactly as it should, with crisp performance and handling. It starts first time from cold and pulls strongly through the gears. The steering column bearing has recently been rebuilt and the alloy wheels refurbished. It sits on four matching tyres. The car comes with plenty of history and is in good overall condition. There are some small marks to the bodywork, but it presented very well at a recent Porsche Club GB show and was awarded the prize for car that travelled the furthest to get there. I'd be happy to drive this car anywhere. Reason for selling is my Dad passed away and I do not have the capacity for another classic car - I already have three!
