BMW 325 2002

2002 52 BMW 325ti 2.5 M Sport Compact 3dr Starts and drives but offered for sale on a project/repairs basis due to the following: 1) Bodywork needs attention - particularly the rust around the wheelarches and the loose front bumper 2) Wheels need refurbished and slow puncture on rear passenger side tyre 3) Slight tapping/puffing noise from engine when idling (still runs and accelerates fine) 4) Coolant light sometimes comes on after engine warms up but doesn't seem to be using any coolant or leaking 5) Heater does not always work (may be related to coolant light issue as often starts working when the light comes on but not investigated further) 6) ABS and DSC warning lights intermittently coming on - suspect faulty sensor on one of the wheels as not on all the time 7) Rear PDC sensors only work intermittently (blistered paint on one of the sensors may be the issue) 8) Rear wiper/washer does not work at all The car does have a Cat N marker for minor non-fault accident damage to the front bumper and grille in 2022. This was professionally repaired by a local bodyshop. The service book has been misplaced but did have an oil service last year at the same time as the MOT. It has been family owned for the last 16 years. It comes with 1 key and the V5 is here. The car is not in use so the mileage won't increase. The MOT ran out on 19th July 2024 and the car is currently SORN. I do not know what (if anything) it will need to pass and will not be submitting it for a test. It will therefore need to be trailered away on collection. The MOT history can be found on the DVLA website using the registration number. Cash or bank transfer on collection (no PayPal). The car is located in Aberdeen, Scotland about 20-30 min taxi/bus from the train station or a 20 min taxi from the airport. Open to sensible offers and happy to answer any questions. However, silly offers or stupid questions will be ignored ... These models are getting quite rare and are fun to drive.
